Senator Mitt Romney joins POLIS at Penn for a fireside chat.
We are pleased to welcome Senator Mitt Romney, one of America’s leading statesmen and political figures, for a conversation about his career in public service, his experience at the highest levels of American politics, and how we can come together to address policy concerns even despite our differences. Having served as a governor, U.S. senator, and presidential candidate, Senator Romney brings a distinctive perspective on leadership, policymaking, and the role of public service in a democracy.
The conversation will touch on major public policy issues and the state of American politics — including whether our leaders can rise above polarization and gridlock to address pressing problems — as well as his advice for the next generation of civic leaders on why public service matters and how students can get involved.
